NOrthern charm, big energy and an overflowing character bank
When you get me on board for your Game, I will come fully prepared with an overflowing character bank and a complete understanding of how to live and breathe the Worlds you’ve created. In the session I’ll draw on my own experiences to walk in your characters shoes, not just vocally, but physically, energetically, emotionally and with truth. I’ve learned how to build fully formed characters with Andrea Toyias of Blizzard Games & Donald Pirie, and have worked with Nickelodeon on their online games.
Animation is my jam. With a love of comedy improv, I really enjoy bringing messy, funny, believable, emotionally authentic animated characters to life. I’ve trained with Kate Harbour and Julie-Ann Dean and have experience dubbing and working to picture, having just finished a teen TV series dubbing a Spanish character to English.
I’ve spent years training, tweaking, playing and perfecting with some of the best in the business. A childhood spent mimicking, playing with accents and different personas. Amateur dramatics. An English and Drama degree. A regular attendee of ImproQuo comedy Improv in Manchester. And, of course, life itself - people watching, people listening and finding inspiration in everyday conversations so that I’m always adding to a wonderfully dynamic character bank.
TV Narration
The Antiques Yard - More4.
A 4-part series on More 4 - Daniel Dawson-Gordon and his crew at Norfolk antiques and reclamation centre, salvage, repair, and revive unwanted items before selling them to new homes. In this episode, Daniel purchases 12 half-sized, extremely rare carousel horses that are in need of restoration. The team sets out to complete the task using only recycled materials. Daniel works with visitors from the USA on a reclamation project in the yard, and Daniel’s favourite painting is X-rayed with some very exciting results.
Farmers Apprentice
A 6-part show in which 10 young farmers are pitted against a week-long series of farming challenges, for the chance to be crowned the Farmers Apprentice, winning £10,000 prize money to invest in their farming dreams. The production company wanted bags of northern personality - someone who could inject some wry humour into the script and make the audience giggle. A little cheeky, a little tongue-in-cheek. Think Come Dine With Me with tractors.

Elliott from Earth - Crystal Chaos
From the people that brought you of The Amazing World of Gumball, Elliott from Earth is a brand new animation on The Cartoon Network. One of the characters is 105E - a rather snarky northern robot played by Boltonian comedy genius Diane Morgan. The researchers at Warner Media sourced me for the online game as Diane wasn’t available and our accents are very similar. Click on the heading to play the game.
